Our aim is to create a vibrant dance culture, which enables everyone to engage with dance in all its form – as a leisure pursuit, as an art form and as a means of maintaining physical, spiritual and emotional fitness and well-being.  To achieve this vision, a home is needed and that home is Rhapsody @ Pek Kio.

Jazzercise

Choreographed to today’s hottest music, Jazzercise is a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, pilates, yoga, kickboxing and more, to create a programme for people of every age and fitness level.

Tahiti Dance Fitness

Tahiti Dance Fitness was created in 2009 by Lila and Beatrice, two sisters from Tahiti, French Polynesia.  Their Tahitian Dance and Fitness classes are designed to be fun, with a family atmosphere to help women of all ages to enjoy a healthier and happier lifestyle!

Hip Hop

Pick up basic hip hop grooves, train your musicality a  dy isolations – put them all together while learning routines choreographed to funky hip hop beats or groovy R&B music!

Capoeira

A uniquely Brazilian martial art dating back to the 16th century with a growth in popularity in recent years partly due to exposure in film and television.  Movements are graceful, dance-like combinations of kicks, throws, acrobatics, and ground movements that enhance awareness, flexibility, and strength.

Capoeira is most of all great fun and an excellent workout for the body and mind!

Commercial Jazz

Commercial Jazz is very popular in the current dance scene, showcased during music videos, commercials, events and shows.  It is a great way to exercise, push your abilities and dance like a pop star!

Pilates

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps to build flexibility, muscle strength and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back.  It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing and developing a strong core or centre and improving coordination and balance.

Goddess Body Conditioning

A women-only condition class!  A non-dance based fitness class which combines cardio, strengthening and conditioning exercises and interval training to improve overall fitness and endurance.  Great for fat blasting!  Learn to exercise right and exercise smart without spending hours at the gym!  A fun class with realistic goals; challenge yourself and bring sexy back into fitness!

Lyrical Jazz

Jazz dancing is a form of dance that showcases an individual’s style and originality as well as allowing them to interpret and execute moves and steps in their own way.  Lyrical Jazz is a softer slower and more expressive style which helps you to gain strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination.

Kpopdan-Z Fitness

Our Kpopdan-Z Fitness classes provide opportunities to dance, sing and exercise in this new craze.  Dancing to 10 or more Kpop hit songs within the hour is a fun way to relax and de-stress from a long day of work.

This high intensity and low complexity aerobics class is a fusion of simplified popular Kpop dance moves and fat burning cardio and body toning exercises.

Tap

From the traditional style of Fred Astaire to the more recent styles of tap dogs and stomp, this class will cover the basics, as well as steps from the different styles.  It is never too late to learn tap dancing, so throw on those tap shoes and improve your rhythm, coordination, overall fitness… and have a blast at the same time!
